A different choice may also suit you if you rely on vendor-certified applications, enterprise support, or hardware with limited Linux driver support. CachyOS follows Arch’s newer software model, so an update can require intervention before you can resume normal work.
You should also reconsider CachyOS if you prefer a minimal, upstream-oriented Arch installation. EndeavourOS provides a lighter Arch-based setup, while vanilla Arch gives you direct control over every installation decision.
